Description 2
Thirty of the 122 condominiums in the Stonefield at Fountaingrove complex were burned or damaged during the Tubbs Fire of October 2017. Originally built in the 1980s, the rebuilding process involved bringing the units up to current code, increasing energy efficiency, incorporating Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) requirements into the construction and detailing, and providing unit owners with alternative floor plan options that reflect contemporary tastes. The project also involved working with a handful of individual homeowners to incorporate specific changes to their units.
