Mill Street, Guerneville

Fritz ArchitectureMill Street, Guerneville

Description 6

This project was a remodel of an existing 3-unit residential building into a two-unit building.  The building, located several blocks from downtown Guerneville, had previously been raised so that the living units were above the 100-year flood level which is approximately 14 feet deep on this site.  The resulting two units each have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The units will be shared by chronically homeless individuals with mental or physical disabilities. Supporting services are provided off-site.

Phase 2 of the project included re-siding the existing building to improve the long-term durability.
