Cherry Creek Affordable Housing

Fritz ArchitectureCherry Creek Affordable Housing

Description 7

This project reconfigured an existing residential site owned by the City of Cloverdale and managed by Wallace House as a permanent, affordable housing site. One of the original three buildings was remodeled, and 23 new units were added in a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom homes. The resulting density is 13 units per acre. The project maintains a large riparian setback along Cherry Creek, which meanders through the site. Amenities include a nature path, garden area, playground, sports court, and a common building, along with outdoor rooms between buildings. See the whole site in this short video shot by drone.

In December 2022, The North Bay Business Journal named Cherry Creek Village the best North Bay Affordable Housing Project.
